Jamshed Town

Jamshed Town is the largest of the towns in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan and lies in the central part of Karachi. To the northwest is Liaquatabad Town across the Lyari River, while to the east is Gulshan Town and to the southeast is Korangi Town across the Malir River. Jamshed is bordered by Karachi Cantonment and Clifton Cantonment to the west.

Jamshed Town Nazim Javed Ahmed inspects cleanliness work

Nazim Jamshed Town Javed Ahmed yesterday along with TMO and other town officials paid surprise visits to educational centres of the town with the view to check cleanliness and other municipal conditions. On the occasion, Nazim directed the concerned officials to ensure proper cleanliness arrangements in and around the educational centres while asked the water and sewerage board officials to ensure regular supply of water to the educational centres without any interruption. Meanwhile, Nazim issued the directive that anti-stray dog campaign will start on weekly basis.
